The Saemangeum Innovation Hub is a large-scale industrial complex that will bring together five major initiatives under one roof.

An AI Data Centre will sit at the heart of the project, scaled to process massive datasets across autonomous driving, robotics and smart factory development. Think of it as the brain that powers the next generation of Hyundai vehicles and beyond — with GPU computing power scaled to 50,000 units and storage for vast amounts of learning data across the entire Hyundai value chain.

Alongside that, a Robotics Manufacturing Cluster will produce approximately 30,000 robot units annually, leveraging Hyundai's world-class manufacturing expertise and smart logistics technology. A dedicated Robot Application Centre will verify and train robots using AI-based software before they're deployed in the real world.

On the energy side, Hyundai is constructing a 200MW-class hydrogen electrolyzer plant using their own proprietary technology — over 90 percent locally developed — to produce clean hydrogen at scale. Solar power infrastructure will supply gigawatt-scale renewable energy to support the entire complex by 2035.

And tying it all together is perhaps the most ambitious piece: an AI Hydrogen Smart City, integrating the Group's entire technology portfolio into a living, working urban ecosystem where AI, hydrogen and robotics converge in daily life.
